Bridget Muyaya Jumbe
Is a Human Resources Management Practitioner who discovered plants as her escapism, every time she was stressed at the office. In her plants collection journey, she learnt to explore more on what it takes to grow each and every plant she collected.
In the process she began to deeply observe each of the plants’ journey and the insights they provide. Bridget’s passions include crocheting, building houses and creating food gardens and forests wherever she lives. She likes making fresh salads with ingredients freshly picked from her garden and experiments with various forms of chemical free food preservations, especially jams and chilies and teas without names.
Bridget lives in the suburbs of Lilongwe in a compound which she calls Berries Yard, because of the diverse and unique collection of various berries species that she grows in the yard.
